To the beastly Bradley Bartleby, no behavior is too bad. After all, he was born bad. The older he gets, the badder he becomes. His selfish demands are always met by his rich parents for the sole reason they are terrified of their spoiled son.
Every year Bradley has the audacity to make demands of Santa with such a huge list, his father has to hire a team of secretaries to type it up. And every year the kindhearted Santa leaves the spoiled brat the same thing, a pair of socks.
Bradley becomes so enraged, he spends the next year building a trap for Santa Claus. By Christmas Eve, his parents have to move to a hotel to escape the danger. Luckily for Santa, Bradley's evil plan backfires and he finds himself looking through the wrong side of metal bars. Never one to leave a child with nothing, Santa gives Bradley the usual socks with a few surprises.
The digital mixed-medai illustrations complement Emmett's witty humor. Bernadette's impeccable skill using dark colors and shadows enhance the sinister actions of a ghastly little boy. Not a nice and fuzzy Christmas book, but destined to become a holiday favorite for those who can't resist a little naughty.I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, The Santa Trap as a well-crafted picture book to be enjoyed by parents as much as children.

Well my children havent really been to naughty but when I was a child, I used to open my presents at the seam of the tape to look at it and then tape it back together ha.
I guess the only person I could rat on is myself and I don't think I will but I did some pretty naughty stuff as a kid. I'm way nicer now. Thanks for the giveaway.
My son and our dog knocked down the tree...more than once this year!!
I was intrigued by this book because my brother once set a trap for Santa!
When my husband was little, he found Santa's stash and told all his siblings what they were getting for Christmas that year.
My niece and nephew try to stay up as late as possible on Christmas eve making it almost impossible for Santa to drop off all of his gifts for them undetected. As a matter of fact, last year they almost caught him in the act because we couldnt get them to stay in their beds!
Knocking over the Christmas tree and opening presents - and that was the first week after Thanksgiving. Oh, the joys of three little boys.

My 2yr old loves to grab and eat the candy canes off the Christmas tree! Oh, and take the ornaments off it as well!
My daughter (with my husband as co-conspirator) got into MY stocking and ate all but one of the chocolates my husband had put in there for me. So on Christmas morning I had a bunch of empty wrappers and 2 guilty faces to look at. They did make it up to me, but they won't be living that one down any time soon!

My son was so naughty when he took out and opened a present and hid it under his bed and I did not notice until Christmas that it was gone.
My son keeps giving too many "hints" as to what everyone has gotten for Christmas.
my son found all the gift and told his brothers and sisters
We always used to hunt out the gifts in our moms closets. :-) Some of us still do!!

That would probably be the time the burn hole mysteriously appeared on the kitchen counter. After further investigation it was revealed that the culprits were the plastic army men who decided to melt themselves on the stove. hmmm
well my 22 year old just wrote and said she has been poking at packages and does not want to wait till christmas to open them.
The only thing that comes to mind was last year my 9 year old son bribed his 4 year old brother to go peek in the closet for presents.I caught him just as he was going in to my room.

my son is too little to do anything really naughty yet. he does remove all of the ornaments from the tree - but he brings them to me so I can't be too mad. :)
My son sneaked down and opened his presents from his grandparents. He felt so bad about doing it that he told us before we opened them.
